How splendid the world is when the sun rises—
And oh, the world's splendor when the sun shines,
just as Zaynab shone above all creation!
as Zaynab shone above all creation!

At its rising, the air is silvered by its light,
The air is silvered by her at her rising,
while the face of the earth is gilded.
and yet the earth's face is gilded in her light.

You would think the sun’s orb, as it hangs poised
And you would think the sun's disc, as she nears her setting
upon the western horizon, were gold being melted.
upon the western horizon, raw gold being melted.
