كَأَنَّ نُهوضَ النَجمِ وَالأُفقِ أَخضَرَ

تَبَلُّجُ ثَغرٍ تَحتَ خُضرَةِ شارِبِ

تَبَلُّجُ ثَغرٍ تَحتَ خُضرَةِ شارِبِ

As though the star’s rising, while the horizon is green,

Were a mouth’s gleam beneath the green of a moustache.
