وَأَمضى عَلى الهَولِ مِن صارِمٍ

وَأَمضى عَلى الهَولِ مِن صارِمٍ

وَأَنجَحَ سَعياً مِنَ الدِرهَمِ

وَأَنجَحَ سَعياً مِنَ الدِرهَمِ

And more resolute in the face of terror than a keen sword,

He walked on horror with a sharper sword

And more successful in striving than the dirham.

And succeeded more greatly than money
