وَبَحرٌand a sea كَكَفِّlike the palm of الأَكرَمينَthe most generous يَحُفُّهُsurrounds it
وَبَحرٌ كَكَفِّ الأَكرَمينَ يَحُفُّهُ
صَعيدٌland كَأَيديlike the hands of السائِلينَbeggars مَديدُoutstretched
صَعيدٌ كَأَيدي السائِلينَ مَديدُ
A sea like the palm of the most generous, encircled by
And a sea, like the palm of the most generous, is encircled
a shore outstretched like the hands of supplicants.
By land outstretched like the hands of beggars.
