Where fair women's figures are tawny lances, swayed

by the wine of youth and coquetry, not a northeasterly breeze.

Light they are—but for the weight of crumbling dunes,

a rump grown lush would return to the waist's barrenness.

Full moons crowned them, unveiled; you see

no darkness about them save that of jet-black hair.
