بِعَينيكَby your two eyes إِنَّindeed السِحرَthe magic مِنهاfrom them يُؤثِّرُtakes effect
People's eyes have grown inflamed, afflicted
Other people's eyes have become diseased
by your eyes; indeed, the magic from them takes effect.
By your eyes, for magic comes from them.
وَكَمand how often أَثَّرَتaffected عَيناكَyour two eyes فيin أَعيُنِthe eyes الوَرىof humankind
إِلىuntil أَنthat غَدَتbecame فيwithin نَفسِهاthemselves تَتَأَثَّرُare affected
And how often your eyes have affected the eyes of humankind,
And how much have your eyes influenced people's eyes
until your own eyes began to suffer in turn.
Until they have become impressed with themselves.
كَذاlikewise الصارِمُthe keen sword الصَّمصامُthe unbending blade إِنif دامَcontinues قاطِعاًcutting
يَصِرwill arise فيهِin it مِنهُfrom it عِندَat ذاكَthat تَأثُّرُwear
Likewise the keen, unbending sword, if it keeps on cutting,
Just so does the sharp sword if it remains cutting
will then itself suffer wear from its cutting.
Become impressed with itself at that point.
