وَفَدَ الرَّشيدُ فَعَزَّ دينُ مُحَمَّدِ

وَفَدَ الرَّشيدُ فَعَزَّ دينُ مُحَمَّدِ

وَتَقابَلَت مِنهُ نُجومُ الأَسعدِ

وَتَقابَلَت مِنهُ نُجومُ الأَسعدِ

Al-Rashid arrived, and Muhammad's faith grew mighty.

The Rashidun arrived, so Muhammad's religion was empowered,

And through him the stars of good fortune met face to face.

And its auspicious stars converged because of his coming.

بِقُدومِهِ فَقَدَ النَّصارَى فُنشَهُم

بِقُدومِهِ فَقَدَ النَّصارَى فُنشَهُم

وَأُذيلَ جاهُ بَني الغُرابِ الأَسوَدِ

وَأُذيلَ جاهُ بَني الغُرابِ الأَسوَدِ

With his arrival, the Christians lost their Funsh (Alfonso).

The Christians lost their splendor because of him,

And the prestige of the sons of the black raven was brought low.

And the status of the dark raven's chicks was lowered.

فَتَرَى زَعيمَ القَومِ يَنظُرُ ذِلَّةً

فَتَرَى زَعيمَ القَومِ يَنظُرُ ذِلَّةً

نَظَرَ السَّقيمِ إِلى وُجوهِ العُوَّدِ

نَظَرَ السَّقيمِ إِلى وُجوهِ العُوَّدِ

So you see the people's leader gazing in humiliation,

So you see the leader of the people looking humiliated,

As a sick man gazes at the faces of those visiting him.

Like a sick man looking at the faces of physicians.
