مازِلتَyou still تَسعىstrive بِجِدٍّearnestly
مازِلتَ تَسعى بِجِدٍّ
بِرَغمِdespite شانيكَthe one who hates you مُقبِلMuqbil
بِرَغمِ شانيكَ مُقبِل
Still you strive with earnest purpose,
You still strive earnestly,
Despite your detractor, pressing on;
Despite your detractor, Muqbil.
تَرىyou envision لِنَفسِكَfor yourself أَمراًa course
تَرى لِنَفسِكَ أَمراً
وَماbut what يَرىenvisions اللَهُGod أَفضَلbetter
وَما يَرى اللَهُ أَفضَل
You see a course for yourself,
You envision a course for yourself,
But what God sees fit is better.
But what God envisions is better.
