حَلَلتُ مِنَ المَجدِ أَعلى مَكانِ

حَلَلتُ مِنَ المَجدِ أَعلى مَكانِ

وَبَلَّغَكَ اللَهُ أَقصى الأَماني

وَبَلَّغَكَ اللَهُ أَقصى الأَماني

I have taken my place at glory’s loftiest station,

I have taken my place at glory’s highest station.

and may God bring you to the utmost of your hopes.

And may God grant you the utmost of your wishes.

فَإِنَّكَ لا عَدِمَتكَ العُلا

فَإِنَّكَ لا عَدِمَتكَ العُلا

أَخٌ لا كَإِخوَةِ هَذا الزَمانِ

أَخٌ لا كَإِخوَةِ هَذا الزَمانِ

For you—may high glory never be bereft of you—

For you—may glory never lose you—

are a brother unlike the brothers of this age.

صَفاؤُكَ في البُعدِ مِثلُ الدُنُوِّ

صَفاؤُكَ في البُعدِ مِثلُ الدُنُوِّ

وَوُدُّكَ في القَلبِ مِثلُ اللِسانِ

وَوُدُّكَ في القَلبِ مِثلُ اللِسانِ

Your affection remains as pure at a distance as when near,

Your sincerity is the same far away as near,

and the love in your heart is the same as on your tongue.

كَسَونا أُخُوَّتَنا بِالصَفاءِ

كَسَونا أُخُوَّتَنا بِالصَفاءِ

كَما كُسِيَت بِالكَلامِ المَعاني

We have clothed our brotherhood in purity,
