وَلَقَد أَبيتُ وَجُلُّ ما أَدعو بِهِ

وَلَقَد أَبيتُ وَجُلُّ ما أَدعو بِهِ

حَتّى الصَباحِ وَقَد أَقُضُّ المَضجَعُ

حَتّى الصَباحِ وَقَد أَقُضُّ المَضجَعُ

And indeed I spend the night, and most of my prayer

I refused though most of what I called for

Until morning, as I toss restlessly in bed, is:

Until the morning, and the bed kept me awake

لاهَمُّ إِنَّ أَخي لَدَيكَ وَديعَةٌ

لاهَمُّ إِنَّ أَخي لَدَيكَ وَديعَةٌ

مِنّي وَلَيسَ يَضيعُ ماتَستَودِعُ

مِنّي وَلَيسَ يَضيعُ ماتَستَودِعُ

O God, indeed my brother is a trust with You

Worry not, my brother is with you, a trust

From me; and what You hold in trust is never lost.

From me, and what is entrusted is not lost
