فيamong الناسِpeople إِنif فَتَّشتَهُمyou examine them
في الناسِ إِن فَتَّشتَهُم
مَنone who لاnot يُعِزُّكَhonors you أَوunless تُذِلُّهyou humiliate him
مَن لا يُعِزُّكَ أَو تُذِلُّه
Among people, if you examine them,
is one who will not honor you unless you humiliate him.
فَاِترُكso abandon مُجامَلَةَcourtesy toward اللَئيthe ignoble (word begins here)
فَاِترُك مُجامَلَةَ اللَئي
مِcompletion of 'the ignoble' فَإِنَّfor indeed فيهاin it العَجزَweakness كُلَّهall of it
مِ فَإِنَّ فيها العَجزَ كُلَّه
So abandon courtesy toward the ignoble,
for in it lies weakness in its entirety.
