1. نَحِّ عَنكَ الطَّبِيبَ وَاسمَع لِنَعتِي

    إنَّني ناصِحٌ مِنَ النُّصَّاحِ

    Send the physician away and listen to my prescription.

  2. ذو تَجَارِيبَ قَد تَقَلَّبتُ في الصِّح

    حَةِ دَهراً وفي السَقَامِ المتاحِ

  3. غادِ هذا الكَبابَ كُلَّ صَبَاحٍ

    مِن مُتُونِ الفَتِيَّةِ السُّحَّاحِ

    Breakfast on this kebab every morning,

  4. فإذا ما عَطِشتَ فاشرَب ثَلاثاً

    مِن عَتِيقٍ في الشَّمِّ كالتُّفَّاحِ

    Then, when you grow thirsty, drink three cups

  5. ثُمَّ عِندَ المَسَاءِ فَاعكف على ذا

    وعَلَى ذا بِأَعظَمِ الأقدَاحِ

  6. فَتُقَوِّي ذا الضَّعفَ مِنكَ وتُلفَى

    عَن لَيالٍ أصَحَّ هذِي الصِّحَاحِ

    Thus you will strengthen what is weak in you, and be found,

    After a few nights, the healthiest of these healthy folk.

  7. ذا شِفَاءٌ وَدَع مَقَالَةَ هذا

    نَاكَ ذا أُمَّهُ بِأَيرِ رَبَاحِ
