أيُّهذا الإمَامُ سَيفُكَ مَاضٍ

أيُّهذا الإمَامُ سَيفُكَ مَاضٍ

وَبِكَفِّ الوَلِيِّ غَيرُ كَهَامِ

وَبِكَفِّ الوَلِيِّ غَيرُ كَهَامِ

O Imam, your sword is sharp,

and in an ally’s hand it is not blunt.

فإذا ما نَبَا بِكَفٍّ عَلِمنَا

فإذا ما نَبَا بِكَفٍّ عَلِمنَا

أنَّهُ كَفُّ مُبغِضٍ للإمَامِ

أنَّهُ كَفُّ مُبغِضٍ للإمَامِ

So if ever it fails to cut in a hand, we know

that it is the hand of one who hates the Imam.
