    O you who stand by my grave to take heed,

    Hear within it the words of a crumbling bone.

    They laid me in the belly of the tomb and were afraid

    Of sins whose wounds are upon my skin.

    I said: Do not grieve for me, for I

    Have good hope in the Compassionate, the Merciful.

    غَلِقَ الرَّهنُ عِندَ مَولىً كَريمِ

    And leave me held in pledge for what I have earned;

    The pledge is forfeit with a generous Lord.
