أَيُّها الناسُ حَسبُكُم

أَيُّها الناسُ حَسبُكُم

إِرهَبوا اللَّهَ وَاِتَّقوا

إِرهَبوا اللَّهَ وَاِتَّقوا

O people, enough!

Fear God and be pious.

لا تَلومُوا اِبنَ بَيِّشٍ

لا تَلومُوا اِبنَ بَيِّشٍ

فَهوَ قاضٍ مُوَفَّقُ

فَهوَ قاضٍ مُوَفَّقُ

Do not blame Ibn Bayyish,

for he is a judge granted success.

عَن قَريبٍ تَرَونَهُ

عَن قَريبٍ تَرَونَهُ

بِظُنونٍ تُصَدَّقُ

بِظُنونٍ تُصَدَّقُ

Soon you will see him,

with suspicions borne out,

يَكسِرُ الدَّنَّ عنوَةً

يَكسِرُ الدَّنَّ عنوَةً

وَتَرَى الزِّقَّ يُفتَقُ

وَتَرَى الزِّقَّ يُفتَقُ

breaking the wine jar by force,

and you will see the wineskin slit open.
