وَأَنتُمُ الحَجُّ مَا مِن فَوتِهِ عِوَضُ
Kissing your palm is prescribed by tradition and obligatory.
Kissing your hand is a duty and obligation
And you are the pilgrimage—nothing can make up for missing it.
And you are the Hajj, missing it has no compensation
وَأَنتُمُand you جَوهرُsubstance الدُّنيَاthe world وَعُنصُرُهَاand its essence

وَالنَّاسُ كُلُّهُمُ مِن بَعدِكُم عَرَضُ
And you are the world's substance and its essence.
You are the essence of life and its element
And all people besides you are mere accidents.
And people, all of them after you, are secondary

You are the intended target and the goal.
Towards you, the intended target and objective
