الشَرق قامَ بواجِب امسى له

الشَرق قامَ بواجِب امسى له

في الغرب امر ذوي المَطامِع مرتبك

في الغرب امر ذوي المَطامِع مرتبك

The East has fulfilled a duty that has left

The East has fulfilled its noblest duty

the affairs of the covetous in the West in disarray.

In the West those with greed are left confused

فانهض بربك يا ابن تونس انه

فانهض بربك يا ابن تونس انه

لَم يَبقَ الا أَن تقدر واجبك

لَم يَبقَ الا أَن تقدر واجبك

So rise, by your Lord, O son of Tunisia; indeed,

So rise, o son of Tunis, for your Lord

nothing remains but for you to appreciate your duty.

All that remains is for you to do your duty
