With calamities that came from places I know and do not know.
Of sorrows that came from where I know not, and know not,

I entered the thick of war, with justice plain,
I entered the darkness of war for truth, and truth was clear,
And left it with justice now in the grave.
Yet I left, and truth is now in the grave,

Aid from God, so I may return with victory.
For the return with victory,
