لحا اللهُ ذي الدنيا مُناخاً لراكبٍ

لحا اللهُ ذي الدنيا مُناخاً لراكبٍ

فكلُّ بعيد الهِم فيها مُعذَّبُ

فكلُّ بعيد الهِم فيها مُعذَّبُ

May God curse this world as a resting place for a rider;

May God make this world a resting place for the rider

For everyone with far-reaching aspirations is tormented in it.

For everyone with distant worries in it is tormented
