إِنْ كُنْتُ أَبْصَرْتُ بَعْدَهُ حَسَنا

May my eyes never behold his beauty

May my eye never behold his charms,

If my eyes saw his beauty again

if I have seen anything beautiful since he left.

if I have seen beauty since he left.

Would I, after him, see beauty once more?
