قل اللَه ثم استقم

قل اللَه ثم استقم

فكلّ الخلائق عدم

فكلّ الخلائق عدم

Say “Allah,” then be steadfast.

Say Allah, then remain steadfast

For all created beings are nothingness.

For all creatures are nothingness

فان العدم قد عدم

فان العدم قد عدم

ويبقى قديم القدم

ويبقى قديم القدم

For nothingness itself has ceased to exist.

Since nothingness has become nothing

And the One eternal from all eternity remains.

While the Eternal remains Eternal

علم ذاك من قد علم

علم ذاك من قد علم

ويجهله من قد ظلم

ويجهله من قد ظلم

Whoever has come to know knows that.

He who knows this has knowledge

And whoever has done wrong is ignorant of it.

While he who does injustice is ignorant

فيا ناظري لا تنم

فيا ناظري لا تنم

ويا قلب زدني الهمم

ويا قلب زدني الهمم

So, O my eye, do not sleep.

So my viewer do not sleep

And, O heart, heighten my aspirations.

And oh heart, increase my determination

فمن شاء يسلم سلم

فمن شاء يسلم سلم

ويحظى بنور الحكم

ويحظى بنور الحكم

So whoever wishes to be safe surrenders,

Whoever wants may be safe

And is blessed with the light of wisdom.

And gain the light of wisdom

ومن عن ذنوبه ندم

ومن عن ذنوبه ندم

فربه وسيع الكرم

فربه وسيع الكرم

And whoever feels remorse for his sins,

And whoever regrets his sins

His Lord is boundless in generosity.

His Lord is All-Forgiving

ومن يخش ربه غنم

ومن يخش ربه غنم

ولم يخش كربا وغم

ولم يخش كربا وغم

And whoever fears his Lord prospers,

And whoever fears his Lord gains

And fears neither distress nor sorrow.

Without fearing hardship or sorrow

ومن لم يكن ملتزم

ومن لم يكن ملتزم

لدى الشرع فيما حكم

لدى الشرع فيما حكم

And whoever is not committed

And whoever does not adhere

To the sacred law in what it decrees,

To the Sharia in its rulings

فلا ريب أن يتهم

فلا ريب أن يتهم

ولا صدق فيما زعم

ولا صدق فيما زعم

There is surely no doubt that he is suspect,

Doubtless he will be blamed

And no truth in what he has claimed.

And his claims are not truthful
