ولطف شامل ودوام نصر

Providential care, and facilitation with ease,

And all-embracing kindness, and lasting victory,

وتأييد من المولى تعالى

وتأييد من المولى تعالى

وحفظ مانع من كل ضر

وحفظ مانع من كل ضر

And support from the Lord Most High,

And protection that wards off every harm,

وفتح عن قريب في علاء

وفتح عن قريب في علاء

وعافية مؤبدة وستر

وعافية مؤبدة وستر

And conquest soon, in lofty glory,

And everlasting well-being and protection,

بتوفيق وتسديد وعز

بتوفيق وتسديد وعز

وقهر للعداء وطول عمر

وقهر للعداء وطول عمر

With success, right guidance, and might,

And the subduing of enemies, and a long life,

لمولانا الإمام ومن ترقى

لمولانا الإمام ومن ترقى

على كل الملوك بكل فخر

على كل الملوك بكل فخر

For our lord the Imam, he who has risen

Above all kings in fullest glory.

بحمد اللَه مالك من نظير

بحمد اللَه مالك من نظير

ولا مشبهك في برّ وبحر

ولا مشبهك في برّ وبحر

Praise be to God, you have no peer,

And none resembles you on land or sea,

ولا مشبهك في دين وعقل

ولا مشبهك في دين وعقل

ولا مشبهك في عدل وبرّ

ولا مشبهك في عدل وبرّ

And none resembles you in faith or intellect,

And none resembles you in justice or benevolence.

فأنت على الشريعة لا خلاف

فأنت على الشريعة لا خلاف

لما قلناه في سرّ وجهر

لما قلناه في سرّ وجهر

For you uphold the sacred law—there is no dispute

About what we have said in secret and aloud.

ودينهم الرّويّ وكلّ قول

ودينهم الرّويّ وكلّ قول

لهم تحقيقه زور ونكر

لهم تحقيقه زور ونكر

And their well-considered creed, and every statement

Of theirs, are in truth falsehood and abomination.

فانهم البغاة فلا تبالي

فانهم البغاة فلا تبالي

بما ترميه من سهم وحجر

بما ترميه من سهم وحجر

For they are the rebels, so do not worry

About the arrows and stones you hurl,

وما تجمعه من خيل ورجل

وما تجمعه من خيل ورجل

وما أعددت من بيض وسمر

وما أعددت من بيض وسمر

And the cavalry and infantry you muster,

And the gleaming swords and dusky spears you have readied.

فصنعاء العروس وليس يخفى

فصنعاء العروس وليس يخفى

مثل أن ليس بعد العرس عطر

مثل أن ليس بعد العرس عطر

For Sana'a is the bride, and it is no secret:

The saying, 'There is no perfume after the wedding.'

فقم بالثأر وانصر من تقدّم

فقم بالثأر وانصر من تقدّم

من الآباء وخذ بالشزر شبر

من الآباء وخذ بالشزر شبر

So rise in vengeance, and champion those who came before

Among the forefathers, and seize a handspan with a fierce glance.

فصبر سيدي فالنصر آت

فصبر سيدي فالنصر آت

ولا تسأم لتأييد وصبر

ولا تسأم لتأييد وصبر

Be patient, my lord, for victory is coming,

And do not grow weary of support and patience.

فلا لوم لمن طلب المعالي

فلا لوم لمن طلب المعالي

بما يبذله من ورق وتبر

بما يبذله من ورق وتبر

So no blame falls upon one who seeks lofty heights

For the silver and uncoined gold that he spends.

فان اللَه قد أعطاك سعدا

فان اللَه قد أعطاك سعدا

فما صنعا معا شام ومصر

فما صنعا معا شام ومصر

For God has granted you good fortune,

What, then, are Sana'a, Syria, and Egypt together?

فلك يدعو إلى المولى تعالى

فلك يدعو إلى المولى تعالى

جميع العالمين بكل قطر

جميع العالمين بكل قطر

So prayers are offered for you to the Lord Most High

By all the world's people in every land.

جنود اللَه جندك كل حين

جنود اللَه جندك كل حين

وكلّ الأولياء وكلّ حبر

وكلّ الأولياء وكلّ حبر

God's hosts are your army at all times,

And all the saints, and every learned scholar.

أذلّ اللَه حسادك جميعاً

أذلّ اللَه حسادك جميعاً

وأعطاك المراد بغير عسر

وأعطاك المراد بغير عسر

May God humble all who envy you,

And grant you what you desire without hardship,

بحقّ محمد صلوات ربي

بحقّ محمد صلوات ربي

عليه دائماً من غير حصر

عليه دائماً من غير حصر

By the merit of Muhammad—may my Lord's blessings

Be upon him always, without number.
