1. يا الظافر الملك التقي

    أخذت بلاد الطولقي

    O al-Zafir, the pious king,

    you have taken al-Tawlaqi's lands.

  2. الحفه أمست خاربه

    وشقى بها من قد شفى

    Al-Haffah has fallen into ruin,

    and there, one once healed became wretched.

  3. فلسوف تفتح عنوة

    وأسر من فيها بقى

    So you shall surely take it by force,

    and capture whoever remains within it.

  4. حقيق ما جاء جعفرا

    فيما جناه وما لقى

    What befell Ja'far was deserved,

    for what he committed and what he suffered.

  5. اللَه ينصر عامراً

    ما زال دأباً يرتقى

    May God grant victory to Amir,

    who keeps rising tirelessly

  6. إلى المفاخر والعلى

    من كل الأسوا قد وقى

    toward glorious deeds and exalted heights.

    He has been protected from every evil.

  7. أرخص بكفيه الذهب

    من جقمقي وبندقي

    He made gold cheap with both his hands—

    Jaqmaqi and Bunduqi coinage.

  8. مجبول في طلب العلا

    خلقا بغير تخلق

    Molded to pursue exalted heights,

    as an inborn trait, without affectation.

  9. وألفى صلاة دائماً

    على النبي الهادي التقى

    And two thousand blessings, unceasingly,

    upon the Prophet, the pious guide.
