علق أمورك بمن له الأمر

واصرف عن الخلق كلّ همه

Bind your affairs to Him who holds command.

And turn every concern away from created beings.

فلا لحدّ قدره ولا قدر

وكلّ مقضى قضى بعلمه

For no one has power or standing.

And all that is ordained, He ordained with His knowledge.

فلا تكن عاتباً على الدهر

فكلّ أمر ورد بحكمه

So do not reproach Time.

For everything has come to pass by His decree.

وكلّ فرج مفتاحه الصبر

هو كاشف الضرّ والمهمه

And patience is the key to every relief.

He dispels harm and distress.

ونعمته لا يحدّها حصر

الشكر نعمه تزيد نعمه

And His bounty is beyond all reckoning.

Gratitude is a blessing that increases His blessings.

فرّغ له القلب بشرح الصدر

ببرد أنسه بلطف حكمه

Empty your heart for Him, with your breast opened wide,

With the coolness of intimacy with Him, with the gentleness of His decree.

فالكون طوع لمن له القهر

ولا لحدّ عشر عشر كلمه

For the universe submits to Him who holds irresistible power,

And no one has a tenth of a tenth of His word,

في عالم السرّ وعالم الجهر

فربك أولى بكلّ حشمه

In the realm of the hidden and the realm of the manifest.

For your Lord is most worthy of all reverence.

ونصره لا يشابه نصر

فمنه فضل ومنك خدمه

And His aid is unlike any other aid.

For from Him comes grace, and from you service.

فيما اهتمامك وقد قضى الأمر

بكلّ حظّ وكلّ قسمه

Why are you anxious, when He has already settled the matter

Regarding every share and every allotment?

واختم صلاة بمن له الفخر

من ذكره أفضل التتمه

And close with a blessing upon him to whom glory belongs,

Whose mention is the finest conclusion.

هو أفضل الرسل شافع الحشر

وأمّته خير كلّ أمّه

He is the best of messengers, intercessor at the Gathering,

And his community is the best of all communities.
