يهذي المنّجمُ في أحكامه أبداً

يهذي المنّجمُ في أحكامه أبداً

ومَن يصدِّقهُ في الحكم يُشبههُ

ومَن يصدِّقهُ في الحكم يُشبههُ

The astrologer always raves in his judgments;

The astrologer raves in his judgments forever

and whoever believes him in his judgment resembles him.

And he who believes his judgment is like him

لكن رموز حساب يُستَّدل بها

لكن رموز حساب يُستَّدل بها

ما ينبغي أننا فيها نسفههُ

ما ينبغي أننا فيها نسفههُ

But symbols of calculation are used to draw inferences;

But the symbols of calculation can be inferred

we ought not deem him foolish in such matters.

We should not in them make mockery
