My support is in Aws ibn Khawli and in Arqam.

I count on Iyas ibn al-Bukayr in our sorrow.

I prepared Iyas son of Bakir for our ruse

أبي بن كعب ثم نجل قتادة

أنيس كذا أوس بن ثابت كن لنا

أنيس كذا أوس بن ثابت كن لنا

Ubayy ibn Ka'b, then Qatadah's son,

Abu son of Ka'b then son of Qatadah

Unays, and likewise Aws ibn Thabit—stand by us.

Likewise Aws son of Thabit be for us

كذا أنس يدعى بنجل معاذ ثم

كذا أنس يدعى بنجل معاذ ثم

معاذ مع أبي نجل معاذنا

معاذ مع أبي نجل معاذنا

Likewise Anas, called the son of Mu'adh, then

So too Anas called son of Ma'az then

Mu'adh with Ubayy, the son of our Mu'adh.

Ma'az with Abu son of our Ma'az

وحق أنيس المرتضى بن قتادة

وحق أنيس المرتضى بن قتادة

وأوس غدا ابن الصامت أحي قلوبنا

وأوس غدا ابن الصامت أحي قلوبنا

And by the merit of Unays, the favored son of Qatadah,

And truly Anas Al-Murtada son of Qatadah

And Aws, who was the son of al-Samit—revive our hearts.

And tomorrow Aws son of As-Samit revive our hearts

بهم أطلب الخيرات في كل مشهد

بهم أطلب الخيرات في كل مشهد

كذا انسه يسر أموري بلا عنا

كذا انسه يسر أموري بلا عنا

Through them I seek good things in every gathering.

Through them I seek good things in every scene

Likewise Anasah—make my affairs easy, without hardship.

So too may he facilitate my affairs without toil
