Abu Alfayd Alkitani — Saqi

My Lord's light has become manifest
To the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
And in him the cosmos took pride
To the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
So witness my Lord's light
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
Indeed, he is a mirror of the Real
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
From him the Real becomes manifest
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
God is seen only
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
The Real has indeed drawn near in knowledge
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
And cleared away the veils completely
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
We have known the Real only
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
Divine oneness became clear only
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
We have come to know God only
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
The radiance of the Real is manifest
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
The reaches of the cosmos shone
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
And polytheism fell away from us
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
My two eyes beheld a light
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
My Lord's light, without a 'how'
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
His light, without a veil
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
So leave aside the 'where,' and you will find Him
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
You will find God all-encompassing
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
Tear apart illusion, and you will see Him
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
Where, where is union, except
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad?
The souls yearned in passionate love
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
For a mingling with God's beauty
Through the Beloved, my master Muhammad.
