Marvel at the one who has risen from an element,

أبدىhe revealed بأنthat الماءwater أصلthe origin of زجاجةa glass vessel
أبدى بأن الماء أصل زجاجة
إذsince صارit became أصلa root للفروعfor the branches صراحاpure
إذ صار أصل للفروع صراحا
He revealed that water is the origin of a glass vessel,
Since it became a pure root for the branches.
لكنهbut he لماwhen تشرقturned eastward مقبلاdrawing near
لكنه لما تشرق مقبلا
ليقمهto consume it (reading uncertain) ألقىhe cast down الحبالthe ropes محاحاpure essence
ليقمه ألقى الحبال محاحا
Yet when he turned eastward, drawing near,
To consume it, he cast down the ropes as pure essence.
