سقى اللهُ حُرّاً رعى عهدَنا

سقى اللهُ حُرّاً رعى عهدَنا

وأنصَفَ مِن جَورِ أيامِنا

وأنصَفَ مِن جَورِ أيامِنا

May God give drink to a noble man who honored our covenant

God watered the free and grazed our covenant

and gave us redress for the tyranny of our days.

And did justice against the tyranny of our days

رأى الدَّهرَ يخطف مَنْ حولَنا

رأى الدَّهرَ يخطف مَنْ حولَنا

فأسلَفَنا حَرَماً آمِنا

فأسلَفَنا حَرَماً آمِنا

He saw Time snatching away those around us,

He saw time snatching those around us

so he provided us beforehand with a safe sanctuary.

So He loaned us a secure sanctuary
