Sol 6.1

  1. إذا اقْتُسِمت أقاليمُ المَعالي

    وفُضَّتُ بينَ أخلالٍ وِضاءِ

    If the regions of lofty virtues were apportioned

    and distributed among radiant friends,

  2. فَخطُّ الاسْتِواءِ ومَا يليهِ

    لحُسنِ العَهدِ مِنها والوَفاءِ

    then the equator and what adjoins it

    would belong to honoring bonds and fidelity.
