لهُ آمِرٌ بالرُّشدِ في يقظَاتِه

لهُ آمِرٌ بالرُّشدِ في يقظَاتِه

وفي النَّومِ يَهديهِ لَخيرِ الطَّرائقِ

وفي النَّومِ يَهديهِ لَخيرِ الطَّرائقِ

He has one who bids him act rightly in his waking hours,

He has a guide to virtue when awake

And in sleep guides him to the best of paths.

And dreams reveal the noblest paths to take

فإنْ قامَ لم يدأَبْ لِغَيرِ فَضيلَةٍ

فإنْ قامَ لم يدأَبْ لِغَيرِ فَضيلَةٍ

وإنْ نامَ لم يحلُمْ بغَيرِ الحقَائقِ

وإنْ نامَ لم يحلُمْ بغَيرِ الحقَائقِ

So if he rises, he strives for nothing but virtue,

If he arises it is for righteous acts

And if he sleeps, he dreams of nothing but truths.

If he sleeps no dreams but truth he facts
