سبحانَ مَن خَصَّ الفِلِزَّ بعزَّةٍ

سبحانَ مَن خَصَّ الفِلِزَّ بعزَّةٍ

والنَّاسُ مُستَغْنونَ عَنْ أجناسِهِ

والنَّاسُ مُستَغْنونَ عَنْ أجناسِهِ

Glory be to Him who made metal precious,

Glory to Him who endowed iron with strength

though people have no need of its kinds;

While people can do without its kind

وأذَلَ أنفاسَ الهواء وكُلُّ ذي

وأذَلَ أنفاسَ الهواء وكُلُّ ذي

نَفْسٍ فَمُفْتَقِرٌ إلى أنفاسِهِ

نَفْسٍ فَمُفْتَقِرٌ إلى أنفاسِهِ

and made the breaths of air lowly, yet every living

And subdued the breaths of air, yet all who breathe

being is in need of its breaths.

Are dependant on its life-giving wind
