الصِدقُ إيمانٌ وَرُبَّتَما

الصِدقُ إيمانٌ وَرُبَّتَما

عِندَ الضَرورَةِ يَنفَعُ الكَذِبُ

عِندَ الضَرورَةِ يَنفَعُ الكَذِبُ

Truthfulness is faith, and sometimes

in times of necessity, lying is useful.

وَالحِلمُ مِن خُلُقِ الكِرامِ وَكَم

وَالحِلمُ مِن خُلُقِ الكِرامِ وَكَم

نَزَقٍ بِهِ يَتَسَهَّلُ الصَعبُ

نَزَقٍ بِهِ يَتَسَهَّلُ الصَعبُ

And forbearance is a trait of the noble, and many a

rash act makes the difficult easy.
