أَلاtake heed ياO ذَواتِwomen given to السَحقِtribadism فيin الغَربِthe West وَالشَرقِand the East
أَلا يا ذَواتِ السَحقِ في الغَربِ وَالشَرقِ
أَفِقنَcome to your senses (women) فَإِنَّfor indeed الأَيرَthe cock أَشفىmore relieving مِنَthan السَحقِtribadism
أَفِقنَ فَإِنَّ الأَيرَ أَشفى مِنَ السَحقِ
Take heed, O women given to tribadism in the West and East:
Come to your senses, for the cock brings more relief than rubbing.
أَفِقنَcome to your senses (women) فَإِنَّfor indeed الخُبزَbread بِالأُدمِwith relishes يُشتَهىis desired
أَفِقنَ فَإِنَّ الخُبزَ بِالأُدمِ يُشتَهى
وَلَيسَand does not يَسوغُgo down easily الخُبزُbread بِالخُبزِwith bread فيin الحَلقِthe throat
وَلَيسَ يَسوغُ الخُبزُ بِالخُبزِ في الحَلقِ
Come to your senses, for bread is appetizing with a relish,
and bread with bread does not go easily down the throat.
أَراكُنَّI see you women تَرقَعنَyou women patch الخُروقَthe holes بِمِثلِهاwith their like
أَراكُنَّ تَرقَعنَ الخُروقَ بِمِثلِها
وَأَيُّand what لَبيبٍsensible person يَرقَعُpatches الخَرقَa hole بِالخَرقِwith a hole
وَأَيُّ لَبيبٍ يَرقَعُ الخَرقَ بِالخَرقِ
I see you patching holes with their like;
and what sensible person patches a hole with a hole?
وَهَلand can يَصلُحُbe of use المِهراسُthe mortar إِلّاexcept بِعودِهِwith its pestle
وَهَل يَصلُحُ المِهراسُ إِلّا بِعودِهِ
إِذاif اِحتيجَthere is need مِنهُof it ذاتَone يَومٍday إِلىfor الدَقِّpounding
إِذا اِحتيجَ مِنهُ ذاتَ يَومٍ إِلى الدَقِّ
And can a mortar be of use except with its pestle,
if one day it is needed for pounding?
