Part of poverty’s nobility and its superiority
It is to poverty's honor and part of its superiority
over wealth—if your discernment is sound—
over wealth—if your judgment were sound—

is this: you disobey God in pursuit of wealth,
that you disobey God seeking wealth,
yet you do not disobey God in order to become poor.
yet you do not disobey God to become poor.
