May Ibn Hashim’s dismissal bring his enemies no joy.

For every officeholder’s end is dismissal and removal.

He was indeed blessed in office, restraining

the hand of oppression, with truth and justice spread through him.

Men seek to bring him low, though he is foremost.

God has willed only that he grow in stature and rise high.
