It is the soul; I take nothing else in exchange for it.
It is the soul I yearn for, nothing else
And all who possess reason tenderly care for a soul like it.
And all rational beings pine for the like of it

For its sake I seek the Hereafter; for if I sell it
For it I seek the Hereafter, and if I sell it
For something of this world, then that is a losing bargain.
For anything of this world, that is true loss
