إِذا هَمَّ النَديمُ لَهُ بِلَحظٍ
تَمَشَّتcrept فيacross مَحاسِنِهِhis lovely features الكُلومُthe wounds
تَمَشَّت في مَحاسِنِهِ الكُلومُ
If the boon companion thought to cast a glance at him,
Wounds crept across his lovely features.
