If a man does not restrain himself, he grows reckless.

Whoever is reckless will be shot with ignorance’s bow.

So let no man feel safe from harm that beguiles him

When he sits with one known for evil, or walks beside him.

And nothing that is to come is far away.

And how near the slow-coming event is to one who lives on!
