بلوغ الأماني ثم أصبحت لاجيا
With my night's host I came in humility, hoping
In the army of my nightly passion I came, disgraced,
to attain my wishes; then I became a seeker of refuge.
Hoping to attain my wishes, but became distressed.

And I stretched out the palm of my quest, my heart afraid,
I extended the hand of my intent, my heart apprehensive,
hoping for an opening as the night grew still.
Or ceased any openings when the night grew dark.

To You I direct my messengers remaining resolute.
