When my sins weigh down my back, and within me lodges overnight

When my sins weigh upon my back through the night

the guest of sins, in the wide courts of calamities,

And I dwell amid sins in the expanse of misfortunes

ألوذ بحسن الظن في باب سيد ال

ألوذ بحسن الظن في باب سيد ال

برية كهف اللائذين ابن غالب

برية كهف اللائذين ابن غالب

I seek refuge with hopeful trust at the door of the master of

I take refuge in good thoughts at the abode of the Master

creation—the cave of those seeking refuge, the son of Ghalib.

Of mankind, cave of those seeking refuge, Victorious Son

ولا شك أني قد نجوت وطالب لي

ولا شك أني قد نجوت وطالب لي

زماني وصحت لي جميع المآرب

زماني وصحت لي جميع المآرب

And no doubt I have been saved, and a seeker on my behalf is

Without a doubt I was saved and gained

my time, and all my wishes have come true.

My time and all my hopes were fulfilled
