لمعاليك جئت أعرض حالي

يا رسول المهيمن المتعالي

To your exalted station I have come to present my state,

O Messenger of the Guardian, the Most Exalted.

يا إمام الرضى وأعظم راع

لصلاح الأقوال والأفعال

O leader of contentment, and greatest shepherd

of upright words and deeds.

يا ملاذ الأكوان يا حجة اللَ

ه على الخلق يا كثير النوال

O refuge of all worlds, O proof of God

to creation, O giver of abundant bounty.

يا دليل الوجود يا مظهر الإيما

ن يا صاحب المقام العالي

O guide of existence, O manifestation of faith,

O holder of the lofty station.

يا هزبر الغيوب في غامض العل

م الإلهي وتاج هام الرجال

O lion of the unseen realms, in the mysteries of knowledge

divine, and crown upon the heads of men.

وإمام الرسل الأعاظم في جا

مع طور التقديس والإجلال

And leader of the greatest messengers in the gathering place

of the mount of sanctification and reverence.

أنت ضئضيئ كل أصل وعليا

باب نعماك غاية الآمال

You are the root of every origin, and the heights of

your bounty's gate are the utmost goal of hopes.

ولا عتابك الرفيعة دار ال

فيض في السير منتهى الترحال

And at your lofty thresholds, the abode of

grace, lies the journey's end upon the path.

بك يرجى حصول كل مراد

ويدوم الرضى على كل حال

Through you, the fulfillment of every desire is hoped for,

and contentment endures in every state.

ويرد القضا ويفتح باب ال

خير بالاحترام والإقبال

And fate is turned back, and the gate of

goodness is opened through reverence and devotion.

أنت روح الأشياء والبرزخ الفا

روق بين الآلا ومولى الموالي

You are the spirit of things, and the dividing barrier

between blessings and the Lord of lords.

أنت عين مع العمى قام مصبا

ح ضياها بكشف ليل الضلال

You are an eye amid blindness; the lamp

of its radiance arose, dispelling the night of error.

أنت سرور الكائنات شؤون

بك دارت أيامها والليالي

You are the joy of created beings; their affairs,

their days and nights, revolve through you.

أنت باب من غيره قطع ال

أمر طريق الدنو من ذي الجلال

You are a gate; apart from it, the decree cuts off

the path of drawing near to the Lord of Majesty.

أنت شكل قامت به نقطة الخل

ق وحلت سلاسل الأشكال

You are a form through which creation's point stood firm,

and the chains of forms were unbound.

وله صفت المواكب في ال

غيب بطرز التعظيم والاحتفال

And for him, the processions formed ranks in the

unseen, with displays of veneration and celebration.

وإليه امتدت من الفلك ال

أطلس كف افتقاره للسؤال

And toward him stretched, from the sphere—

the starless one—its hand of need in supplication.

عظم اللَه مجد قدرك إذ أن

ت مدار الغدو والآصال

God exalted the glory of your rank, for you

are the pivot of mornings and evenings.

وصراط الشهود معنى ومعرا

ج سماوات حضرة الأفضال

And, in essence, the path of witnessing, and the ladder

to the heavens of the presence of bounties.

وغياث للعاجزين وذخر

ومعين عند انتها الآجال

And succor for the helpless, and a treasure,

and a helper when lifetimes reach their end.

وحسام من القضا جردته

قدرة اللَه للعدو القالي

And a keen sword of the decree, unsheathed by

God's power against the hateful foe.

أسد ثار من حمى غابة الغي

ب بعزم يدك شم الجبال

A lion risen from the sanctuary of the forest of the unseen,

with a resolve that crushes the lofty mountains.

ونما فضله فعم البرايا

بأيادي ندا يديه الطوال

His bounty grew and embraced all creatures,

with the favors of his far-reaching, generous hands.

وبه لاذ زمرة الرسل قدما

وترقوا بجاهه للمعالي

In him the company of messengers sought refuge of old,

and through his standing they rose to lofty ranks.

وعلى اللَه كلهم دخلوا من

باب رقياه حطة الإيصال

And all of them entered God's presence through

the gate of his ascent, the station of attainment.

وبه الفوز للجميع بنيل ال

قصد من ربنا وحل العقال

Through him all gain triumph by attaining

their aim from our Lord, and by the loosening of bonds.

كيف لا وهو روح جسم أصول ال

كون في طرز هيئة الأشكال

How could it be otherwise, when he is the spirit of the body of the roots of

the universe, in the patterned configuration of forms?

وإمام الهدى وانجح هاد

لا جل النيات والأعمال

And the leader of guidance, and the most effective guide

toward the noblest intentions and deeds.

وسراج للعالمين منير

ومثيب الجواب عند السؤال

A shining lamp for all worlds,

and a giver of answers when asked.

ناده للأمور تلقاه عواناً

في مبادي شئونها والمآل

Call upon him in your affairs; you will find him a helper

at the outset of their unfolding and at their end.

وهو إكسير نقطة السر معنى

وهو ترياق كل داء عضال

He is, in essence, the elixir of the point of the secret,

and the antidote to every intractable disease.

وهو ميزاب رحمة اللَه والفي

ض الإلهي المنشور للأبطال

He is the rainspout of God's mercy, and the outpouring

of divine grace spread abroad for the valiant.

وهو باب الغنى لكل فقير

والملاذ الحامي من الأهوال

He is the gate of plenty for everyone in need,

and the protecting refuge from terrors.

ليس لي في الورى سواه وإني

التجى فيه وهو أعظم كالي

I have none but him among creation, and truly I

take refuge in him; he is the greatest guardian.

وبعليا رحابه أتخافى

عن زماني النائبات الثقال

In the heights of his precincts I conceal myself

from the grievous calamities of my times.

وأراه النصير والعون والغو

ث وكشاف طارقات النكال

I see him as the defender, the aid, and the succor,

and the dispeller of punishing visitations.

وبأعتابه الشريفة أحمى

من شئون جاءت بضيق المجال

At his noble thresholds I am sheltered

from troubles that have hemmed me in.

وعليه الصلوة في كل آن

وسلام عار عن الانفصال

Blessings be upon him at every moment,

and peace free of interruption.

ولأصحابه النجوم وأهل البي

ت ساداتنا عيون الآل

And upon his companions, the stars, and the people of his household,

our masters, the choicest of his kin.
