الى سدة الغوث الرفاعي احمد

مددت ارجى الفضل ملتمسا يدي

مددت ارجى الفضل ملتمسا يدي

To the threshold of the Ghawth, Ahmad al-Rifa‘i,

To the seat of relief, the eminent Ahmed

I stretched out my hand in supplication, hoping for grace.

I have extended my hand, hoping for favor, pleading

امام رجال الله سلطان حزبهم

امام رجال الله سلطان حزبهم

واعظمهم في كل نهج ومشهد

واعظمهم في كل نهج ومشهد

Imam of God's men, sovereign of their fellowship,

Before the men of God, the sultan of their party

And the greatest among them in every path and gathering.

And the greatest of them in every path and scene

له الشرف الوضاح في آل فاطم

له الشرف الوضاح في آل فاطم

وبيض المعالي في ذراري محم

وبيض المعالي في ذراري محم

His is radiant nobility among the family of Fatimah,

To him belongs the evident honor among the Fatimids

And shining honors among Muhammad's descendants.

And the brightest glories among the descendants of Muhammed

فان تحسب الاقطاب فهو امامهم

فان تحسب الاقطاب فهو امامهم

وان تعدد السادات فهو ابو اليد

وان تعدد السادات فهو ابو اليد

So if you count the spiritual poles, he is their imam;

If you consider the pillars, he is ahead of them

And if you enumerate the masters, he is Abu al-Yad, Father of the Hand.

And if you count the chieftains, he is the open-handed father

الاقي به الاسد الجرئية ربضا

الاقي به الاسد الجرئية ربضا

وارغم اعدائي واقهر حسدي

وارغم اعدائي واقهر حسدي

Through him I face the bold lions as they crouch,

I meet with him the bold lion crouching

And humble my enemies and subdue my enviers.

And subdue my enemies and defeat my envious foes
