منح المهيمن أحمداً بظهوره

فهو الحبيب ونوره من نوره

The Guardian graced Ahmad with His manifestation.

The Sovereign granted Ahmad through his appearance,

Thus he is the beloved, and his light is from His light.

For he is the beloved, and his light is from His light.

وطواه في أستار باهر نعمة

وطواه في أستار باهر نعمة

نشرت على آصاله وبكوره

نشرت على آصاله وبكوره

And He enfolded him in the veils of dazzling grace,

And He cloaked him in amazing veils of grace,

Spread over his late afternoons and his early mornings.

Spread over his intimates and newly arrived.

وأقامه عنه خليفة أمره

وأقامه عنه خليفة أمره

وأعانه بسكونه ومروره

وأعانه بسكونه ومروره

And He appointed him, on His behalf, deputy of His command.

And He established him as His deputy in His affairs,

And He aided him in his stillness and his passing.

And aided him through his tranquility and passage.

وأنا به العلم الخفي عن الورى

وأنا به العلم الخفي عن الورى

وبعصمة نجاه من مقدوره

وبعصمة نجاه من مقدوره

And through him I am the knowledge hidden from humankind.

Through him I attained the hidden knowledge from creation,

And through protection He saved him from his allotted fate.

And through his infallibility He saved him from his foreordained decree.

ولوى له هام البرية كلها

ولوى له هام البرية كلها

ولقد تولاه بكل أموره

ولقد تولاه بكل أموره

And He bowed the heads of all creation before him.

He bent for him the necks of all the wilderness,

And indeed He watched over him in all his affairs.

And He has already undertaken all his matters.

ولأجله صاغ الوجود بحكمةٍ

ولأجله صاغ الوجود بحكمةٍ

مدت بساط سنينه وشهوره

مدت بساط سنينه وشهوره

And for his sake He fashioned existence with wisdom

And for his sake He created existence wisely,

That spread out the carpet of its years and its months.

Extending the carpet of its years and months.

هو ذلك اللوح الإلهي الذي

هو ذلك اللوح الإلهي الذي

كتب الإله عليه كل سطوره

كتب الإله عليه كل سطوره

He is that divine Tablet upon which

God wrote all His lines.

سر الجليل وعبده وصفيه

سر الجليل وعبده وصفيه

وحبيبه المنصور في تدبيره

وحبيبه المنصور في تدبيره

The Majestic One's secret, His servant, and His chosen one,

The secret of the Sublime, His servant, chosen one,

And His beloved, supported in his ordering of affairs.

And beloved, the victorious in His management.

والدولة القدسية العليا التي

والدولة القدسية العليا التي

غلبت ببأس قليله وكثيره

غلبت ببأس قليله وكثيره

And the exalted, holy dominion that

And the most high, holy state

Prevailed through the might of his few and his many.

Which has overcome with its little and abundant might.

وهو العروس بحضرة غيبية

وهو العروس بحضرة غيبية

نشر الكريم لها شريف ستوره

نشر الكريم لها شريف ستوره

And he is the bride in an unseen presence;

And he is the bride in the unseen presence

The Generous One spread His noble veils for her.

For whom the Generous spread an honorable curtain.

وهو الضيا اللماع في سينا الخفا

وهو الضيا اللماع في سينا الخفا

والجوهر المحض البسيط بطوره

والجوهر المحض البسيط بطوره

And he is the gleaming light in the Sinai of hiddenness,

And he is the sparkling illumination in the Sinai of the unseen

And the pure, uncompounded substance in his mode of being.

And the sheer essence, simple in its condition.

وهو الحقيقة للحقائق والرقي

وهو الحقيقة للحقائق والرقي

قة في زوايا الخط من مسطوره

قة في زوايا الخط من مسطوره

And he is the reality of realities, and the subtle—

He is the reality of realities and the ascent

—essence in the corners of the script from His inscribed text.

In the corners of the line from its transcription.

عون عليه أخا المهمة في البلا

عون عليه أخا المهمة في البلا

ولك الأمان من القضا وصدوره

ولك الأمان من القضا وصدوره

Aid rests with him, O brother of grave concern, in affliction.

Help upon him, O brother of responsibilities in testing,

And safety is yours from the decree and its issuance.

And for you is safety from fate and its occurrences.

والجأ بظل رحابه العالي الذرا

والجأ بظل رحابه العالي الذرا

ملجأ الوجود جليله وحقيره

ملجأ الوجود جليله وحقيره

And seek refuge in the shade of his high-crested courts,

And take refuge in the shade of his lofty tents

The refuge of existence, its great and its lowly.

Shelter of existence, its mighty and lowly.
