1. حسب الأعداء أني

    قد وهى ظهري بحملي

    The enemies thought that I

    had grown weak in the back beneath my burden.

  2. ما دروا أني بأولا

    د رسول اللَه وصلى

    They did not know that I am bound to the children

    of God's Messenger.

  3. وعلى اللَه اتكالي

    ومن السادات أصلي

    And upon God is my reliance,

    and my lineage is from the noble lords.

  4. ولمولاي اتسنادي

    لا إلى جاهي وفعلي

    And upon my Lord I lean,

    not upon my standing or my deeds.

  5. جهل الحساد حالي

    وأرادوا قطع حبلي

    The envious did not know my state,

    and they wished to sever my cord.

  6. وأراد اللَه عزي

    فعلا شاني وطولي

    But God willed my honor,

    so my standing and stature rose.

  7. فجول اللَه حولي

    ومن الرحمن سؤلي

    So God's circling is around me;

    and from the Most Merciful comes what I seek.

  8. هو مقصودي ومطلو

    بي له جزئي وكلي

    He is my aim and the one I seek;

    to Him belong my part and my whole.

  9. وصلاة اللَه تهدي

    كلما صلى مصلى

    And may God's blessing be bestowed,

    whenever a worshipper prays,

  10. لحبيب اللَه طه

    ولأصحاب وأهل

    upon God's beloved, Taha,

    and upon his companions and family,

  11. ولأتباع كرام

    عرفوا سر التجلي

    and upon noble followers

    who knew the secret of divine manifestation.
