The Beloved’s household are the stranger’s protectors,

the sun of being, full moons of felicity;

there is an exalted station and a sound disposition,

with merciful hearts, prestige, and generosity;

noble in character, gracious in temperament,

وتلك عطايا الكريم الودود

every distinction of theirs is glorious and praiseworthy—

such are the gifts of the All-Generous, the All-Loving.
