Pole of the poles, imam of the people,

The pole of poles, the imam of the people

succor of the fearful one, his rescuer.

Succor of the fearful, his helper

فياض الراحة احمد من

فياض الراحة احمد من

يتلى للوصلة مسنده

يتلى للوصلة مسنده

Lavish of palm, most praiseworthy of those

Overflowing tranquility, Ahmad is the one

whose chain of transmission is recited for union.

Whose union verse is supported

حامي المستنجد من زمن

حامي المستنجد من زمن

قد ساد السادة اعبده

قد ساد السادة اعبده

Protector of the supplicant against time's hardships,

Protector of the beseecher in an era

his servants have indeed surpassed the masters.

That has prevailed over the masters, worship him

وله مدت تجلى علنا

وله مدت تجلى علنا

من حجرة هادينا يده

من حجرة هادينا يده

And to him was extended, revealed openly,

And he has shone openly for some time

from our Guide's chamber, his hand.

From the cave of our guide, his hand

علم الاشراف وواحدهم

علم الاشراف وواحدهم

استاذ الكون ومرشده

استاذ الكون ومرشده

Banner of the nobles and their peerless one,

The science of nobility and their unique one

master of the universe and its guide.

Teacher of existence and its guide

ان أمّ شقي ساحته

ان أمّ شقي ساحته

فالله بفضل يسعده

فالله بفضل يسعده

If a wretched soul seeks his courtyard,

If the mother of misery's realm

then God, through grace, makes him happy.

Then God in his grace will make him prosperous

او وافى العاجز حضرته

او وافى العاجز حضرته

فشؤُن القدرة تعضده

فشؤُن القدرة تعضده

Or if the helpless one comes into his presence,

Or if the incapable comes to his presence

then the workings of divine power uphold him.

The affairs of might will support him

فلك العرفان ومورده

فلك العرفان ومورده

Master of spiritual feeling and its source,

Shaykh of rapture and its source

celestial sphere of spiritual knowledge and its wellspring.

Celestial gnosis and its watering place

من قبّل ترب حظيرته

من قبّل ترب حظيرته

فالبدر الساطع يحسده

فالبدر الساطع يحسده

Whoever kisses the dust of his precinct,

Whoever kissed the dust of his fence

then the radiant full moon envies him.

The shining full moon envies him

كنز الامداد ومظهره

كنز الامداد ومظهره

سر الارشاد مهنده

سر الارشاد مهنده

Treasure of spiritual aid and its manifestation,

Treasure of supply and its manifestation

secret of guidance, its Indian-steel sword.

Secret of guidance, its smoother

أبو العلمين ابن السب

طين عميد الموكب اوحده

طين عميد الموكب اوحده

Abu al-‘Alamayn, descendant of the two grandsons,

Father of both knowledges, son of the lineage

chief of the procession, its peerless one.

Chief of the procession, unique in his oneness

صف الاقطاب به يزدا

صف الاقطاب به يزدا

ن ويسمو الكوكب مشهده

ن ويسمو الكوكب مشهده

The rank of the poles is adorned by him,

The ranks of the poles through him grow

and his shrine soars above the star.

And the planet rises, his scene

غوث الثقلين ضياء العي

ن امام الدين مجدده

ن امام الدين مجدده

Succor of humankind and jinn, light of the eye,

Succor of the two realms, light of the eyes

imam of the faith, its renewer.

لا زال بنور رسول الل

لا زال بنور رسول الل

ه يفوق الفرقد مرقده

ه يفوق الفرقد مرقده

May, by the light of God's Messenger,

He continues with the light of Allah's Messenger

his resting place forever outshine Farqad.

Surpassing the brilliant star, his burial place
