مروءتنا في شأن قارع بابنا

مروءة ذي سير بأعلى المسالك

Our noble conduct toward whoever knocks at our door

Is that of one who journeys along the loftiest paths.

من السنة الغرا أخذنا طريقنا

ومعنى أفضناه على كل سالك

From the radiant Sunnah we took our path,

And a meaning we poured forth upon every wayfarer.

فسار بفضل اللَه مصابح سرنا

كشمس الضحى في طور برج الممالك

So, by God's grace, the lamps of our secret journeyed forth,

Like the forenoon sun in the sphere of the kingdoms' tower.

لجأنا بأعتاب الرسول بأهلنا

وإخواننا من هم وقت معارك

We sought refuge at the Messenger's thresholds with our kin

And our brothers, from distress in times of battle.

وا النرحو الحفظ دهرا أبا حمد

من الخطب والبلوى وكل المهالك

And we hope for lasting protection, O Abu Hamad,

From calamity, affliction, and all deadly perils.
