Our honor comes through God,

in the north and the west.

منه ثوب ابتهاجنا

From Him comes the robe of our joy,

not through prestige and rank.

كل من رام ذلنا

طامعاً بالتقرب

Whoever seeks our humiliation,

hoping to gain favor,

قاصداً كشف سترنا

قاصداً كشف سترنا

خصمه اللَه والنبي

خصمه اللَه والنبي

intent on lifting our veil—

God and the Prophet are his adversaries.
