رسول الإله الرفيع المقام

My God, through the merit of the noble-hearted Beloved,

My God, by the merit of the magnanimous beloved,

The Messenger of God, exalted in station,

The Messenger of God, exalted in rank,

تفضل بعطف ولطف خفى

تفضل بعطف ولطف خفى

ووصل المراد ونيل المرام

ووصل المراد ونيل المرام

Graciously grant compassion and subtle, hidden kindness,

Graciously bestow compassion and hidden kindness,

And the fulfillment of desire and attainment of the aim.

And attainment of what is sought and fulfillment of what is desired.

ويسر بجاه النبي الكري

ويسر بجاه النبي الكري

م الرؤوف الرحيم عليه السلام

م الرؤوف الرحيم عليه السلام

And grant ease through the honored standing of the noble Prophet,

And grant ease by the standing of the noble Prophet—

M., the compassionate, the merciful—peace be upon him.

The compassionate, the merciful—peace be upon him.

ولا ترجع الظن في خيبة

ولا ترجع الظن في خيبة

ففي باب فضلك دفع المهام

ففي باب فضلك دفع المهام

And do not turn expectation back in disappointment,

And do not send hope back disappointed,

For at the gate of Your bounty, reproach is warded off.

For at the door of Your grace, grave concerns are warded off.

وأنا بدأنا الرجا بالرسول

وأنا بدأنا الرجا بالرسول

فأحسن إلهي بحسن الختام

فأحسن إلهي بحسن الختام

And we began our hope with the Messenger,

And since we began our hope with the Messenger,

So make it beautiful, my God, with a beautiful ending.

So favor us, my God, with a good ending.
